This recently completed project was finished ahead of schedule and under budget in a volatile area of Iraq. The intent of this project was to provide the research, planning and renovation, repair, and construction of the 40 person Police Operations Center facility that was damaged during the war. Further, a complete site investigation was completed to develop comprehensive drawings and descriptions of the existing site utilities and conditions.
The work included: constructing a weapons storage room, communications system, sanitary sewer system, water distribution system, electrical power distribution system, power generation system and fuel point distribution system and storage tank; sidewalks and walkways, asphalt and paved roads, perimeter security wall, roof-top fighting positions and observation point, and sunshades.
